The brand experienced a growth of 3% in the Light Commercial Vehicles sales segment.

The company sold 7,834 units in July 2023 as compared to 6,596 units in July 2022.

Ashok Leyland is generally acknowledged as India’s most dependable commercial vehicle manufacturer. The sales report for July 2023 has been released by Ashok Leyland, the flagship company of the Hinduja Group. Total vehicle sales, including domestic and exports, increased by 9%.

Commercial vehicle manufacturer, Ashok Leyland sold a total of 13,534 units in July 2023, including medium and heavy commercial vehicles and light commercial vehicles, compared to 12,420 units in July 2022. There is a growth of 9% in year-on-year sales.

Domestic Sales

Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles

The company sold 7,834 units in July 2023 as compared to 6,596 units in July 2022. The company experienced a growth of 19% in the Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles sales segment.

Light Commercial Vehicles

The company sold 5,233 units in July 2023 as compared to 5,386 units in July 2022. The brand experienced a growth of 3% in the Light Commercial Vehicles sales segment.

Total Domestic Sales

The Ashok Leyland Commercial Vehicle Sales Report showed a 9.06% of growth in July 2023. As per the sales data, 13,067 units were sold in July 2023 as compared to 11,982 units in July 2022.

Export Sales

In July 2023, Ashok Leyland Export commercial vehicle sales data 2023 showed a growth of 6.62%. It sold 467 units in July 2023, compared to 438 units in July 2022. The brand experienced a growth of 190.10% in the LCV segment and a decline of 41.40% in the M&HCV segment.

The company exports 203 commercial vehicle units in July 2023, compared to 347 units in July 2022, in the M&HCV category. The company exports 264 commercial vehicle units in July 2023, compared to 91 units in July 2022, in the LCV category.
