Bajaj Auto Limited saw a slight 1% increase in total sales for March 2025, reaching 369,823 units compared to 365,904 units in the same month last year, as per data released on April 3.
Bajaj Auto Sales Trends
Exports sales showed positive results, growing by 2% in March. The company shipped 148,349 units in March 2025, up from 145,511 units in March 2024. Domestic sales remained almost unchanged, with a slight increase to 221,474 units in March 2025 from 220,393 units in the same period last year.
Bajaj Auto's commercial vehicle exports performed well in March, rising by 11% to 16,276 units from 14,630 units in March 2024. Domestic commercial vehicle sales also grew by 1%, reaching 37,815 units. The March figures reflect a return to normal after February's unusual sales pattern, where Bajaj Auto exported more two-wheelers (153,000 units) than it sold domestically (146,000 units), which is uncommon for an Indian automotive manufacturer.
Annual Growth for FY 2024-2025
Looking at the entire fiscal year, Bajaj Auto saw a 7% increase in total sales, reaching 4,650,966 units, up from 4,350,933 units in the previous year. This growth was mainly driven by strong export performance, which grew by 14% to 1,863,281 units. Domestic sales increased by a smaller 3%, reaching 2,787,685 units.
The annual results highlight a continuing shift in Bajaj's sales mix, with exports now making up about 40% of total sales, up from 37% last year. Exports of two-wheelers saw a strong growth of 13%, reaching 1,674,060 units.

Commercial vehicle exports performed exceptionally well, rising by 19% to 189,221 units for the full year, highlighting Bajaj Auto's growing presence in international markets.
