Key Highlights:

Cityflo, India's premium mobility platform, announced a major environmental milestone for FY25. The company helped save over 73 lakh litres of fuel and prevented 6,659 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions. This was achieved by replacing around 15 lakh private car trips with Cityflo's bus services in Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad.

Positive Impact on the Environment

The environmental savings are equal to the carbon absorption ability of around 3.3 lakh trees in a year. Cityflo’s buses also helped reclaim road space. At full capacity, one bus removes the need for three private cars, making traffic smoother during peak hours.

Focus on Commuter Safety and Comfort

Cityflo's service is especially popular among working professionals. Women make up 41% of the customer base, thanks to Cityflo’s strong focus on safety and comfort. Features like app-based booking, reserved seating, and clean interiors have made the service more reliable and attractive.

Leadership Insights:

According to company representatives, there is a strong need for better public transport options. “The numbers from this year show a clear shift — people are willing to choose shared mobility if the service is good. But the gap is huge — every month, India adds 3 lakh cars to its roads, while public bus availability stays low at just 1.2 buses per 1,000 people," they said. Cityflo believes it plays an important role by offering solutions that fit into city planning and promote cleaner transport.
