PMI Electro Mobility operates 700 e-Buses in Uttar Pradesh and aims to capitalise on the state's eco-friendly initiatives, especially in Ayodhya.
In preparation for the upcoming Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off 100 electric buses for tourists in the city.
With just nine days remaining until the historic consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the Uttar Pradesh Government is gearing up to welcome more than 3 lakh devotees with a sustainable and eco-friendly approach. In preparation for the upcoming Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off 100 electric buses for tourists in the city. These eco-friendly buses will operate on the Dharma Path and Ram Path, beginning their services on January 15.
Ayodhya's Regional Transport Officer, Ritu Singh, highlighted the city's commitment to clean transportation, stating that Ayodhya City Bus Transportation Ltd has been established for this purpose.
Dr. Aanchal Jain, CEO of PMI Electro Mobility, shared insights, emphasising that the PMI electric buses are designed to provide a safe and comfortable transit experience for dignitaries, pilgrims, and the general public. Introducing eBuses aligns with the state's commitment to promoting green transport in Ayodhya.
Jain highlighted that PMI Electro Mobility operates 700 e-Buses in Uttar Pradesh and aims to capitalise on the state's eco-friendly initiatives, especially in Ayodhya. The CEO mentioned, "The significant number of devotees expected to visit the city from across the country and globally will have access to a carbon-free ride, contributing to the city's zero-carbon mobility mission."

PMI Electro Mobility has an extensive presence, with over 1300 e-buses operational in 28 cities across India. Introducing 100 electric buses in Ayodhya is a notable step towards promoting sustainable and environmentally conscious transportation in the holy city.
Ayodhya is improving its transportation with new parking areas at Udaya Chowk on the Chaudah Kosi and Panchkosi Parikrama routes, covering 70 acres. The city's main paths include Ram Path, Dharma Path, Bhakti Path, and Janmabhoomi Path, inspired by the concepts of the four Vedas and eras.
To enhance facilities for tourists and pilgrims, the Uttar Pradesh government plans to introduce electric buses on Ram Path and Dharma Path. This initiative aligns with the city's commitment to sustainable transportation.
The 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at the Ram Temple will span seven days, starting January 16. On the first day, the temple trust's appointed host, Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, will conduct the atonement ceremony, featuring rituals like the 'Dashvidh' bath, Vishnu worship, and offerings to cows on the Saryu River banks.
