Eicher Trucks & Buses, a division of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), successfully organized the second Women Transporters Delegation at its Industry 4.0-compliant plant in Bhopal. This initiative, in collaboration with industry veteran Girish Mirchandani, reflects Eicher’s commitment to promoting inclusivity in the commercial vehicle (CV) sector.
Building on the success of India’s previous Women Transporters Delegation, this two-day event brought together women fleet owners and transport entrepreneurs. The focus was on discussing advancements in logistics, new technology adoption, and the role of alternative fuels in India’s transport sector.
Factory Tour: Delegates visited Eicher’s cutting-edge plant, including an exclusive look at the all-women assembly line producing theEicher Pro Xseries.
Test Drives: Participants experienced the latest Eicher Pro X EV and Eicher Pro 2055 EV models, showcasing innovation in electric mobility.
Industry Insights: Panel discussions covered key trends, challenges, and opportunities in logistics, including AI, digitization, and sustainable transport solutions.
Leadership Interaction: Senior executives from VECV engaged in interactive sessions with the delegation to discuss business growth and inclusion.
