In February 2025, the electric bus market saw a decline in sales. The total number of electric buses sold was 307 units in February 2025, compared to 360 in January 2025. Year-over-year sales have decreased, with 307 electric buses sold in February 2025 compared to 322 e-buses sold in February 2024.
Electric Buses Sales Report February 2025: OEM-wise Sales Analysis
Several brands recorded normal growth, while a few experienced a decline. Let’s explore the sales figures and market dynamics of the top players:
Switch Mobility: In February 2025, Switch Mobility sold 88 units, down from 125 in January 2025, resulting in a 29.6% decrease. Despite the drop, it still holds a significant market share of 28.7%.
Olectra Greentech: Olectra Greentech saw a positive growth of 11.9%, with 66 units sold in February 2025 compared to 59 in January 2025. Its market share stands at 21.5%.
PMI Electro Mobility: PMI Electro Mobility experienced a decrease of 16.2%, selling 57 units in February 2025, down from 68 in January 2025. Its market share is 18.6%.
Tata Motors: Tata Motors had a strong performance in February, selling 42 units, up from just 23 in January, marking an 82.6% increase. The market share for Tata Motors stands at 13.7%.
JBM Auto: JBM Auto saw a drop of 25%, with 36 units sold in February compared to 48 units in January. It holds a market share of 11.7%.
Aeroeagle Automobiles: Aeroeagle Automobiles experienced a decline of 47.8%, with only 12 units sold in February, down from 23 in January. Its market share is 3.9%.
Veera Vidyuth Vahana: Veera Vidyuth Vahana faced a significant drop of 76.9%, selling only 3 units in February compared to 13 in January 2025. Its market share is 1%.
Pinnacle Mobility: Pinnacle Mobility performed well, with a 100% increase, selling 2 units in February, up from 1 in January. Its market share stands at 0.7%.
Veera Vahana Udyog: Veera Vahana Udyog made a positive start, selling 1 unit in February, compared to none in January. It has a small market share of 0.3%.
