Light commercial vehicle sales under 2 tons increased by 17% to 3,416 units in April 2023, compared to 2,929 units in April 2022.

During the month, commercial vehicles increased by 16%. In April 2023, Mahindra & Mahindra sold 20,231 CVs. Three-wheeler sales increased by 85% to 5,552 units, up from 3,009 units last year.

The brand is optimistic about further solidifying its position in the 3.5-ton LCV category, as they have recently launched the All New range of Bolero Maxx Pik-Up, which promises to be a game changer.

In April, the business sold 35,398 tractors. In April of the previous year, this figure was 39,405 units.

However, exports fell 33% to 1,813 units in April FY24, compared to 2,703 units in April last year.
Nakra went on to say that the corporation will continue to maintain "a close eye" on the fluid supply chain scenario.

Mahindra sold 25,783 vehicles in the Commercial Vehicles sector in April 2023. Light commercial vehicle sales under 2 tons increased by 17% to 3,416 units in April 2023, compared to 2,929 units in April 2022.

The sale of LCVs weighing more than 3.5 tonnes and Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles increased by 63% to 1,150 units, compared to 705 units in April 2022.

The sale of 3 Wheelers increased by 85% to 5,552 units, compared to 3,009 units in April 2022.

Mahindra's Export sales

The brand faced a decline of 33% in its export sales in April 2023, by selling 1,813 commercial vehicles compared to 2,703 units in the same month the previous fiscal year.
