Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra, has achieved a major milestone, crossing 200,000 electric vehicle (EV) sales in India. This accomplishment strengthens Mahindra's position as a key player in India’s commercial EV market.

Growth in the L5 Segment MLMML has been instrumental in promoting electrification in the L5 commercial vehicle segment, which saw EV penetration rise from 7.6% in FY23 to 21.7% so far in FY25, according to Vahan data. 

Over the past 17 months, Mahindra has sold more than 100,000 EVs, with popular models like the Treo Plus, e-Alfa Plus, and the newly introduced Mahindra ZEO contributing to this growth.

Market Leadership and Expanding Portfolio 

According to SIAM data, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility holds a leading 41.2% share in the L5 EV category. The company’s range includes small commercial electric vehicles such as the Mahindra Treo, e-Alfa, and Zor Grand three-wheelers. Recently, MLMML has expanded its product lineup with the Mahindra ZEO, a small electric four-wheeler in the sub-2-ton segment.

Increased Production and Customer Support Initiatives 

To meet rising demand, Mahindra has boosted production capacity at its manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru, Haridwar, and Zaheerabad. Additionally, the company introduced the UDAY NXT customer loyalty program, which offers benefits like ₹20 lakh driver accidental insurance, career counseling for customers’ children, and business and finance counseling services.

Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, highlighted the company’s dedication to innovation, stating that achieving 200,000 EV sales demonstrates Mahindra’s commitment to addressing the evolving needs of urban logistics.
