Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra, launched a new electric commercial vehicle named ZEO. The e-Zeo, also known as Jeeto Electric, is a small commercial vehicle (SCV). It is built on the Jeeto shared modular monocoque platform. The e-Zeo will be available in two variants, V1 and V2, in both the pickup and delivery van categories.

Mahindra Last-Mile Mobility (LMM), the top electric three-wheeler manufacturer in India, sold 6,140 units in September 2024, showing a 22% growth compared to last year. The company predicts that by the end of this decade, monthly sales in the electric small commercial vehicle (e-SCV) segment will reach 46,000 units.

The electric Zeo comes with a rotary dial selector gear knob for reverse, drive, and neutral, which can be used in both auto and manual modes. It offers two drive modes:

The e-Zeo also includes a traditional Mahindra logo, hard plastics in the cabin, doors carrying circular blue speaker treatments over the speakers, a semi-analog instrument cluster, R-12 inches tyre with no alloy, and an active liquid cooling battery pack. 

The Nemo driver app offers full tracking capabilities for drivers. The NEMO Driver and Fleet Management apps let users see real-time data to boost performance and efficiency. Fleet managers can track performance, geofences, manage services, and check charging summaries. Drivers can easily find nearby charging stations, dealers, and plan their trips, along with many other helpful features.

Variants And Pricing

Mahindra has introduced the e-Zeo in New Delhi, offering two variants with battery options of 18kWh and 21.3kWh. The price for the e-Zeo ranges from Rs 7.52 lakh to Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Mahindra offers the e-Zeo with a down payment of just 5 percent. There's also a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) option, where you pay Rs 2.25 per kilometre as a monthly rental.
