"10,000 units are required by the government of India's recently announced PM e-Bus program. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development is currently in discussions with various stakeholders, and the government is likely to issue this tender by next month," he said.

The order book demonstrates Olectra Greentech's commitment to participating in India's electric transportation infrastructure. Pradeep previously stated that the company has orders for 9,000 electric buses. Olectra Greentech plans to deploy at least 1,200 of these buses during the following 24 to 30 months.
