TI Clean Mobility, the company behind the well-known electric vehicle brand "Montra Electric," is set to expand its product lineup by launching two new vehicles in the coming months. This move aims to enhance their offerings in the electric vehicle market.

Expansion Plans

The company, part of the Murugappa Group, is also looking to significantly increase its branch network. According to Anurag Vohra, the Chief Operating Officer, TI Clean Mobility plans to double its current network from 80 to between 150 and 200 dealerships by the end of this financial year. Currently, they have a presence in 65 cities.

New Products on the Horizon

The upcoming launches include a cargo version of their e-Auto, expected within the next two months, and an L3 e-rickshaw that can reach speeds of up to 25 km/h. TI Clean Mobility has sold around 6,000 units of the e-Auto passenger electric 3-wheeler since it was launched in the market.

Increased Sales Projections

The company is on track to increase its monthly sales of Montra electric vehicles from 750 units to 1,000 units soon, showcasing strong demand for their products.

Advancements in Battery Technology

Vohra mentioned that the company is also working on improving battery technology, aiming to reduce charging time to just 15-20 minutes. Currently, it takes around 5.5 hours to charge a Montra electric vehicle's battery fully. TI Clean Mobility operates two battery manufacturing facilities in Manesar and Coimbatore.
