VECV Unveils Latest Range of Buses at PRAWAAS 4.0

The company showcased the Volvo 9600 coach, electric Eicher Skyline Pro-E 13.5 m Intercity coach, and Eicher Skyline Pro 3010 School bus at the event.

Key Highlights:

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV), a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, showcased its latest bus models at PRAWAAS 4.0. 

The company showcased the Volvo 9600 coach, electric Eicher Skyline Pro-E 13.5 m Intercity coach, and Eicher Skyline Pro 3010 School bus at the event.

VECV claims that their product line is consistent with the Indian government's ambition for a modern and sustainable public transportation system. The company provides vehicles for a variety of applications, ranging from affordable to premium travel sectors.

Vinod Aggarwal, MD & CEO of VECV, discussed the company's contribution to the government's objective of people mobility in Viksit Bharat. 

Suresh Chettiar, Executive Vice President of the Bus Division at VECV, stressed the company's commitment to provide "passenger-centric" solutions to fleet operators throughout India.

Volvo 9600 Coach

The Volvo 9600 Coach, which is available in both seater and sleeper configurations, has been upgraded to improve passenger comfort and safety during interstate travel. It has soft-touch interiors, personalized entertainment systems, and better ambient lighting.

Eicher Skyline Pro-E 13.5 m Intercity Electric coach

The Eicher Skyline Pro-E 13.5 m Intercity Electric coach is defined as a monocoque platform intended for intercity transportation. It has a smooth drivetrain, comfortable seats, and automatic temperature control.

Eicher Skyline Pro 3010 School Bus

The Eicher Skyline Pro 3010 School Bus is part of Eicher's premium line of school buses. It incorporates innovative features such as AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) and a variety of safety systems such as FAPS (Fire Alarm and Protection System) and FDSS.

VECV reports that its vehicles are equipped with connected fleet technology and an Uptime Center, which the company claims can help bus operators enhance productivity and efficiency.
