These vehicles will provide an affordable alternative to traditional auto-rickshaws, offering lower fares for commuters and better earnings for drivers.
Key Highlights:
Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited has added 400 electric two-wheelers to its fleet in Kolkata, Pune, and Ahmedabad. This follows their earlier deployment of 100 electric two-wheelers in Hyderabad in collaboration with SpeedForcEV. The company is also planning to enter the ride-hailing industry with 200 electric three-wheelers set to be launched in Maharashtra.
The Hyderabad deployment showed that the electric two-wheelers had high uptime and helped delivery partners earn more, encouraging further investment in similar models. The 400 new two-wheelers are expected to boost delivery services in the growing Quick Commerce and E-Commerce sectors by offering reliable operations and cutting fuel costs.
In addition to two-wheelers, Wardwizard is working with SpeedForcEV and ride-hailing platform Cabeys to introduce L5 category passenger electric three-wheelers in Maharashtra. These vehicles will provide an affordable alternative to traditional auto-rickshaws, offering lower fares for commuters and better earnings for drivers. The company plans to deploy up to 5,000 of these three-wheelers across different states in India during the financial year 2025-26.
To ensure smooth operations for its growing EV fleet, Wardwizard has partnered with AmpVolts to tap into its extensive charging network. This collaboration will minimize downtime and optimize energy usage for daily operations. The seamless integration with AmpVolts' infrastructure is expected to improve the user experience for both drivers and fleet operators.
