Daimler India Commercial Vehicles has opened its 300th BharatBenz sales and service centre in India. BharatBenz has also expanded its sales and servicing network in western India by partnering with Autobahn Trucking to open 10 additional BharatBenz touchpoints.

BharatBenz and Autobahn expanded their presence in Maharashtra earlier this year by opening sales and service centres in Chakan, Nashik, and Satara. The alliance intends to open a total of 25 touch-points around the state by the end of 2022. Expanding network presence with ten new touchpoints in critical areas will allow the company to better meet the region's growing demand for BharatBenz trucks and buses.

BharatBenz currently has 26 touch-points in Maharashtra. Since its start, the state has sold over 15,000 BharatBenz trucks and buses. BharatBenz dealerships are strategically positioned on major national and state routes, providing convenience and flexibility to all types of customers. BharatBenz now has 300 points of contact strategically located across India on national roads of the Golden Quadrilateral North-South and East-West Corridors. Customers may reach BharatBenz through these highways in under 2.5 hours.

BharatBenz touch points are located at major National Highway crossings throughout Maharashtra, including NH3, NH4, NH6, and NH66. These highways are vital for the movement of products in the country, linking North India to South India and West India to East India.

The 300th store is opened in Loni, a prominent location on the Pune-Solapur route. Sangli, Baramati, Goa, Solapur, Malegaon, Alephata, Talegaon, Indapur, and Kudal are among the other recently opened touchpoints. With the most recent retail network development, the average distance between two BharatBenz touchpoints in western Maharashtra has been lowered to 75 kilometres.

Rajaram Krishnamurthy, VP of DICV said that "Western India has been a strong region for our sales, and Maharashtra has always been a performing market for BharatBenz. With this development, we now have over 160 active service bays throughout Maharashtra, capable of servicing 5000+ automobiles each month. We will have 25 fully operational Autobahn Trucking touchpoints in the state by the end of 2022, cutting the average distance between two BharatBenz touchpoints in western Maharashtra from 150 km to 75 km. The expansion is aimed to accommodate the region's expanding demand for BharatBenz goods and to underscore DICV's unwavering commitment to the Indian market and the ever-growing BharatBenz community."

"In addition to our established network in Kerala, we are happy to grow and cooperate with BharatBenz in Maharashtra. We have already added 13 new touchpoints across Maharashtra in the last 7 months and will have 25 by the end of the year. With 450 experts on board, we expect to service 30,000 vehicles each year from 100 bays." stated Mohamed Farzad, MD of Autobahn Trucking.
