Ecofy will offer free processing fees for the first 50 vehicles distributed, and Piaggio Vehicles will employ Ecofy's user-friendly and entirely digital financing solutions to deliver 800 vehicles in the current fiscal year.

Ecofy, a green-only NBFC, has partnered with Piaggio Vehicles (PVPL), a prominent producer of small commercial vehicles, to give financial assistance to individuals and organizations interested in purchasing electric three-wheelers (passenger and cargo range).
According to the company, it will offer free processing fees for the first 50 vehicles distributed, and Piaggio Vehicles will employ Ecofy's user-friendly and entirely digital financing solutions to deliver 800 vehicles in the current fiscal year.
This collaboration intends to give individuals and organizations seamless financial help while purchasing electric three-wheelers for both cargo and passenger use.
The alliance will also provide preferential loans to businesswomen with the goal of attracting the enormous captive buyer group that purchases electric three-wheelers in significant quantities for last-mile deliveries.
" We are thrilled to cooperate with Piaggio Vehicles to accelerate the adoption of electric three-wheelers. Electric Three-Wheelers have already surpassed 50% market penetration and are expected to reach 75% by 2030. Our collaboration strives to provide customized solutions and a smooth customer experience that are suited to the specific needs of our valued consumers," stated Rajashree Nambiar, Co-founder, MD & CEO of Ecofy.
Ecofy claims to be on an initiative to overcome the availability gap in climate finance pools to last-mile consumers. It provides eco-financing to environmentally conscious people and small enterprises by providing small loans and packaged product offerings.
Leases, buyback guarantees, extended warranties, annual maintenance contracts, and green credits are among the services available. The organization aspires to be a central figure in the green ecosystem by having access to an appealing liability pool comprised of low-cost global climate dedicated funds, green asset pools, and green bonds.
Piaggio is a premium Italian vehicle firm founded in 1884 by Rinaldo Piaggio with headquarters in Pontedera, Italy. Piaggio entered the commercial vehicle sector after focusing on the two-wheeler category and offering top-selling scooters like Vespa.
In 1948, it introduced the Piaggio Ape, a three-wheeled light commercial vehicle, and went on to become a popular automaker in the tiny Three-wheeler market. In a short period, the company expanded its operations to 50 countries worldwide, with a strong presence in the Asian market.
It began operations in India in 1999 with the building of a production centre in Baramati, near Pune, focusing on the development of apes.
