According to the company, the holiday season had an impact on sales in April. Sales for the month were hampered by the important holiday season being moved up this year to March 23 rather than April as it was last year, combined with unseasonal rainfall, hampered sales throughout the month.

But, with continuing government assistance, higher crop prices, more credit availability, and adequate water reservoir levels, the company anticipate similar demand momentum to continue across geographies in the following quarter.
