Euler Motors has opened a new commercial EV manufacturing and R&D plant in Palwal, Haryana. The 5 lakh sq. ft. plant, which cost Rs 100 crore to build, can produce 36,000 automobiles per year.

Support for Make in India Initiative

Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors, remarked that the facility reflects the Make in India concept while also bringing technological breakthroughs to commercial EV manufacturing. He explained that the location was chosen because of the strong supplier network in the area.

Advanced Manufacturing and Testing Features

The facility has an automated assembly line linked to a proprietary manufacturing execution system. It has advanced testing features like dyno testing, shower testing, and a full-length test track. The factory also has R&D labs and works with engineering professionals.

The plant has several automation initiatives, such as an EMS Hanger system and a Trailing Arm Fitment Assist. It also has innovative waste management technologies and a circular groundwater recharge system, indicating a dedication to environmental sustainability.

Gaurav Kumar, Head of Supply Chain & Manufacturing, stated that the plant establishes new standards for the efficient and dependable manufacture of three-wheeler EVs. The facility currently employs approximately 500 people, with 20% being women, and includes a learning and development center.
