Godawari Electric Motors has announced that their 200Ah lithium-ion battery pack made by Ruchira Green has gained AIS 156 authorization from the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) under Amendment-III Phase-II.
According to Hyder Khan, CEO of Godawari Electric Motors, the battery is one of the most important components of an EV, and with their 200Ah pack gaining ICAT certification, they are in compliance with the most recent rules imposed by the governing authorities.

Godawari Electric Motors CEO Hyder Khan highlighted that this is one of the company's important milestones since its start. The battery was thoroughly tested and met all of the safety and performance standards stipulated by ICAT under the most recent revision.
According to a press release, the business began using these certified batteries in its e-auto Eblu Rozee and e-loader Eblu Reino.
Godawari Electric Motors now sells the e-auto (L5M) Eblu Rozee as well as the e-bicycle ranges Eblu Spin and Eblu Thrill, each of which comes in three variants. As part of its network expansion strategy, the business has opened 28 dealerships around the country.
To complement the product expansion, the company wants to aggressively expand its dealership network. It was discovered that Godawari currently has 28 dealerships throughout India. With a presence in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities, the goal is to have 50 dealerships by August 2023 and 100 by the end of the year. Based on demand, it will explore multiple dealerships in a city.
By the conclusion of the fiscal year, the firm intends to have average monthly sales of 130 units of e-auto, 150 units of e-loader, 3,000 units of scooters combined, and 1,500 cycles.
