Jio-bp announced the launch of its diesel with ACTIVE technology. This will save truckers up to Rs 1.1 lakh per vehicle per year and up to 4.3 per cent better fuel economy. This was designed specifically for Indian automobiles, roads, and driving conditions.

For the first time in the Indian market, this new high-performance diesel option will be accessible at all Jio-bp shops at standard pricing with no additional fee. It is intended to work with a variety of commercial vehicles, and with continued use, it provides a variety of benefits to drivers and fleet owners.

Diesel with Active technology at Jio-bp outlets helps reduce the risk of unscheduled repair due to dirt buildup, eliminates existing dirt from essential engine parts, and protects against its buildup with continued use. With ongoing usage, it helps recover and preserve engine power while also minimizing the risk of unscheduled vehicle maintenance.

"While every single customer is important. Truckers have always had a special corner for Jio-bp. We understand the important influence of fuel on truckers' overall company performance because it accounts for more than half of their operational expenditures," said Jio-bp CEO Harish C Mehta.

He went on to say that Jio-bp has laboured to build tailored additives from the start to alleviate their concerns about gasoline performance and engine maintenance.

The new diesel is supposed to help recover and sustain the engine's power or pick-up over time, as well as lessen the danger of costly crucial engine component failures caused by dirt build-up. According to the press release, it also contains an anti-foam agent, which aids in cleaner, faster, and safer refuelling.

Millbrook UTAC in the United Kingdom, an independent global vehicle testing agency, conducted rigorous testing for the new diesel.
