For the first time, Mahindra is using a passenger vehicle (PV) engine in a commercial vehicle (CV). The Mahindra Veero is equipped with a 1493cc diesel engine, the same one powering the Bolero and Bolero Neo SUVs. This engine produces 59.68 kW of power (around 75 bhp) at 3200 RPM, delivering the performance required for heavy-duty tasks while ensuring reliability.
The Mahindra Veero is designed to fill the gap between Mahindra’s smaller commercial vehicles like Jeeto and Supro, and larger pickups like Bolero Pik-Up and Maxx. Its forward control design—where the cabin is placed above the front axle—ensures better maneuverability and a smaller turning radius, making it ideal for city driving.
