M&M Set to Launch new lightweight platform for Swaraj Tractors

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) plans to launch a new platform for their lightweight Swaraj tractors. The company is committed to providing creative solutions to the agriculture sector, and the launch of this new platform demonstrates that commitment.

Swaraj is entering a new market with this venture, which will feature specialist spraying and inter-culture application goods. With these enhanced services, M&M hopes to meet the specialized demands of farmers.

The platform is set to go live on June 2nd and will serve as the base for 25-horsepower and 29-horsepower engine tractors. The tractors on this platform would have improved functions in addition to a new design, according to Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director at M&M, during a press conference.

Furthermore, M&M announced that the Oja platform, formerly known as codename K2, will make its global premiere on August 15 of this year. While the platform is primarily aimed at the Indian market, it was created with a global view in mind.

Jejurikar is optimistic about the Oja platform, calling it the most technologically advanced global tractor platform to date. Mahindra has developed four unique platforms as part of this endeavor, which will be branded as Mahindra Oja.

The introduction of the new Swaraj tractor platform, as well as the planned global premiere of the Oja platform, are significant achievements for Mahindra & Mahindra.

The company intends to increase its position in the agricultural machinery market both domestically and abroad by developing technologically sophisticated solutions and increasing its product range.
