Omega Saiki Mobility has planned to launch the country's first Hydrogen Based L-5 Category Rickshaw vehicle within the next six months. It has the potential to be a game changer in the L-5 Category rickshaw market.

The vehicle will be able to go at least 350-400 kilometres on a single charge, even in rough terrain. It will have a load capacity of one ton and will be priced competitively with OSM's other products.

However, the full specifications have yet to be released. This product is being tested in Europe, the Jaisalmer deserts, and Leh. Because it eliminates charging issues, the vehicle will appeal to a broad audience and provide consumers with more information about green technology.

Hydrogen technology is completely sustainable. Hydrogen-powered vehicles are completely sustainable because they use only natural minerals and do not require the mining of fossil fuels. Unlike electric vehicles, which rely on coal to generate power for charging and other fossil fuels.

The Indian government has authorized a green hydrogen mission with an initial investment of INR 19,000 crore (about $190 billion). This is a huge investment in the development of green hydrogen technology, which will almost certainly result in the expansion of clean energy sources in India.

Not only that, but the government has stated that it intends to produce five million tonnes of green hydrogen by 2030. This was accomplished by announcing a policy that allowed manufacturers to acquire renewable resources like hydrogen and ammonia without paying any transmission expenses for the next 25 years.
