Mahindra & Mahindra sold out around 19389 units in December 2022. In contrast, it had 14938 units sold in December 2021, hinting at a sales growth of nearly 30%. Due to such high sales figures, M&M again managed to maintain its top position in selling more tractors than its competitors.

Swaraj Division comes under Mahindra & Mahindra, and it also witnessed a sales growth of 23.3% in the previous month. This tractor brand sold 12922 units against 10480 units in December 2021.

Sonalika, one of the popular tractor brands in India, generated 9722 unit sales against the 9266 unit sales of December 2021. Additionally, it noticed a growth of 4.92%, which is quite satisfactory compared to other tractor brands.

TAFE didn’t get a good response from its buyers and saw a decline of around 5.2%. This tractor brand sold 7867 units which were 8297 units last year.

Escorts Ltd secured its name among the tractor brands that saw substantial growth in December 2022. This tractor manufacturer sold out 7759 units against 6260 units in December 2021, resulting in 23.94% growth.

John Deere tractor division noticed tractor sales of 6508 units this year, which was 4795 units last year. The company also gained 35.72% growth during the month.

Eicher sold only 5015 units against 5395 units in December 2021. As a result, this tractor brand also saw a decline of 7.04%.

New Holland benefited from its December month sales because the company sold 3287 units against 2284 units in 2021, witnessing a massive growth of 43.91%.

Kubota, a leading Japanese tractor brand, had 2385 units sold in December 2022, and the company sold approximately 1582 units in December 2021.

The VST sales figure for December stood at 461 units, but last year the company had 485 units of sales for the same month. Thus, last month this tractor brand saw a sales decline of 4.94%.

Force Motors Ltd sold around 357 units in December 2022, which is less compared to last year’s sales figure because the company had 433 units sales in December 2021, which indicates a 17.5% decline in its sales figure.

Preet managed to sell 333 units of tractors in the last month, and the company had sales of 505 units in December 2021, clearly showing it saw a sales drop of 34%.

Trakstar’s retail tractor sales figure reached 285 units which were 197 units in December 2021. The company generated higher sales figures than the last year to secure growth of 44.67%.

Other tractor brands not mentioned above aggregately generated 2273 unit sales against 9736 units in December 2021, representing a net decline of 44.67%.
