Compared to last year, domestic tractor sales figures for November 2022 saw a prominent increase of 56.81%. Mahindra & Mahindra stood first in selling the highest number of tractor units compared to last year. Mahindra & Mahindra tractors maintained their top position in selling the highest number of tractors in November 2022. This tractor manufacturing company sold 19,105 tractor units last month. However, last year it had record sales of 10,704 units.
Swaraj Division of M&M tractors stood at the second position; it generated sales of 13,244 tractor units against 7,666 units in November 2021. The Swaraj Tractors witnessed 80% of sales growth.
Sonalika, The International Tractors Limited had a November 2021 sales figure of 6005, whereas this year, it made 9610 units in sales. It also increased its reach among Indian tractor buyers.
The TAFE group has already launched prominent tractor models named Massey Ferguson. It is known for selling high-performing tractor models in India and the world market. This tractor brand generated a sales figure of 9080 in November 2022, which is higher than last year's sales figure for the same month. In 2021, TAFE Group managed to make record sales of 5692 units.
Escorts has subsidiary tractor brands, including Farmtrac, Powertrac, and Digitrac; these tractors are used in India. This tractor brand made 8549 tractor unit sales, whereas last year, its total sales for the same month was 4447. It also gained the market share by 2%, totaling 10.96%.
John Deere generated sales of 5412 units last month which was 3777 units in November 2021. This year this tractor brand performed well in India and saw a massive increase in its sales figure.
Eicher tractors noticed the sales of 5049 units in November 2022 and 3236 units in November 2021. However, it witnessed a slight drop in its market share but still managed to generate higher sales compared to last year.
CNH is another popular tractor brand in India and has a stable customer base that helped this tractor brand generate November month sales of 2853 units, which was 1150 units in November 2021.
Kubota is a Japanese tractor brand and sells its tractor models in India. In November 2022, this tractor brand sold 1751 tractor units, and last year it recorded sales of 1150 units for the same month.
VST Tillers Tractors Ltd generates 492 units, which is 32% higher than last year's sales figure. In November 2021, this tractor brand sold 372 models with a market share of 0.75%.
Force made record sales of 391 units against the 307 units in November 2021. However, it saw a slight decrease in its market share, which was 0.62% last year and dropped to 0.50%.
Gromax Agri tractors sold 352 units during November 2022 and witnessed a sales growth of more than 100%. In addition, this tractor-manufacturing brand noticed an increase in its market share to 0.45%.
Preet tractors generated a higher number of sales than last year. In November 2022, it made a total sales of 318 units, whereas it was 314 units in November 2021.
If we talk about other tractor brands, they generated integrated sales of 1787 units, which was 4176 units last year in November month.
The retail tractor sales in November 2022 reached 77993 units, which was 49737 units in November 2021, where Mahindra & Mahindra, along with the Swaraj Division of M&M, made record sales to maintain their top position. Other tractor brands also saw a significant increase in their sales figure and market share.
