VST Tillers Tractors Unveils Series 9 Compact Tractors for Global Markets

VST Tillers Tractors, a renowned name in the agricultural machinery industry, has made a significant step forward by unveiling its latest innovation - the High-Performance Series 9 Compact Tractors. These tractors have features such as independent PTO, MID PTO, Reverse PTO, completely Synchromesh Gearbox, Electro-Hydraulic Controls (EHC), and Dual Track Width Options. The combination of modern technology and the EHC feature improves operator comfort and control while also speeding up the performance of numerous activities.

VST Tillers Tractors systemically created the new Series 9 tractors at its state-of-the-art Hosur, Tamil Nadu plant to strengthen its presence in the 4WD Compact Tractor category.

Aim To Increase Sales

The company has released its Series 9 Compact Tractors, which have power outputs ranging from 18 HP. This move is part of the company's strategic aim to increase sales to Rs 3,000 crore by 2026 by entering the competitive US market within the next two years.

Furthermore, the corporation plans to invest Rs.100 crore in R&D, culminating in the development of a Global R&D center.

The Series 9 tractors have a cutting-edge design and an ideal size, making them extremely lightweight yet robust. Among their ergonomic characteristics are an elevated platform, projector headlamps, a heat protector shield, a new-generation instrument cluster, a premium seat, and a notably low turning radius.

Tractors can be utilized for a wide range of purposes, including tillage, cultivation, haulage, and more, thanks to their qualities and their versatility.

VST Tillers Tractors' Series 9 portfolio offers a considerable breakthrough. Antony Cherukara, CEO of the company, stated plans to introduce twelve new products this year. While three higher horsepower tractors will be available in September, three additional tractors, including an electric tractor, will be available in Germany in November.

VST has grown at a 30% annual rate over the last three years. Looking ahead, the company expects to maintain a 20% growth rate over the next four years. Cherukara stressed VST's unique market presence, stating that the company is the only manufacturer producing models ranging from 2hp to 50hp. This diversity underscores their desire to join the US market and accomplish the lofty revenue target of Rs.3,000 crore by 2026.

VST is committed to growing its product portfolio in order to meet the needs of small and marginal farms. This decision is expected to assist a substantial percentage of the farming community in India, where the compact tractor market accounts for around 55,000 to 60,000 tractors yearly. The corporation intends to expand its dealership network from 1000 to 2000 locations, thereby expanding its reach and influence.
