Ashok Leyland introduces a 250 HP 4V engine to its AVTR lineup.

  • On Thursday, Hinduja Group flagship Ashok Leyland announced the launch of the H6 4V engine in the AVTR line, complete with a premium N Cabin, to serve the tractor and tipper industries.

    Indian truck customers are increasingly looking for more powerful trucks to transport big goods as well as high-power tippers for difficult mining applications. Demand for more powerful trucks is increasing as the dynamics of the transportation business change rapidly, in tandem with the improvement of road infrastructure.

    In the haulage, tractor, and tipper markets, Ashok Leyland has expanded its AVTR portfolio by introducing a 250 HP, 6-cylinder 4-valve engine with a premium N cabin.

    The renowned H series engine makes this new line of trucks ideal for customers looking for more power and better fuel efficiency.

    Mr Sanjeev Kumar, Head- MHCV, Ashok Leyland, addressed on the occasion:

    "The modularity of the AVTR platform dramatically decreases product lead time, allowing us to introduce products that address our client's specific transportation needs.
