Bridgestone launched New Tractor Tyre with Long Tyre Life and Driver Comfort

The Bridgestone VX-R TRACTOR series, developed and manufactured in Europe, can be installed on any tractor and coupled with any brand.

Bridgestone has introduced the premium VX-R TRACTOR tyre series, which features long-lasting wide-tread traction. The Bridgestone VX-R TRACTOR, designed with a specific focus on the whole tread width in contact with the soil, provides farmers with a high tread-rubber ratio exactly where it is needed for long-lasting performance.

It will have a large tread width for superior traction.

The Bridgestone VX-R TRACTOR has a broad tread width. Broad Tread Width provides three important benefits:

Wide traction: The tread width on all VX-R TRACTOR tyres is at least as wide as the nominal tyre width. This increases tyre-to-soil contact and maximises traction.

Long wear life: Keeping the tread width consistent with the nominal tyre width helps to extend the life of Bridgestone's outstanding wear-resistant compound. The Bridgestone VX-R TRACTOR features the same high-performance tread compound as the popular VT-TRACTOR and VX-TRACTOR models.

Driver comfort: A wider tread means a larger footprint on the road. As a result, it offers a smoother and more comfortable ride.

A Matched Rolling Circumference

Bridgestone VX-R TRACTOR tyres have a matching Rolling Circumference for each FRONT / REAR tyre combination. As a result, it maximizes both tractor and tyre performance.

This offers an identical front axle lead. It means that the front tyres are designed to travel slightly faster than the rear tyres. This improves tractor handling and drivetrain performance by increasing fuel efficiency, tyre life, and traction.

Supporting the move towards sustainable farming

The Bridgestone VX-R TRACTOR series, with ENLITEN Technology, takes farmers closer to more sustainable farming without sacrificing tyre performance.

The VX-R TRACTOR, the first Bridgestone agricultural tyre range to incorporate ENLITEN, has been intended to assist the company's sustainability commitment, in line with the Bridgestone E8 Commitment and the company's long-term environmental vision.

The Bridgestone VX-R TRACTOR series, developed and manufactured in Europe, can be installed on any tractor and coupled with any brand. The 1.6 bar tyres will be available in 23 sizes until 2023, with an additional 23 sizes coming in 2024, in 65, 70, and 85 series from 24 to 38-inch rims.

The new AGRO-TYRE-PRESSURE application

Bridgestone introduces AGRO-TYRE-PRESSURE, a smartphone application that helps farmers define the proper pressure of their agricultural tyres from a variety of brands, as an extension of the functionality of the Bridgestone and Firestone agricultural tyre apps, which were first introduced in 2017.

Bridgestone developed this software in partnership with other tyre manufacturers to assist farmers in determining the proper inflation pressure for each farm implement - all within one app.

Farmers no longer need to consult each brand's app to determine the proper use of each farm tractor and wheeled implement. Using the proper tyre pressure for each machine increases tyre life, traction, and fuel efficiency while decreasing soil compaction.
