Electric Vehicle Expo- AutoNxt Automation Demonstrates a Self-Driving Electric Tractor

AutoNxt is a technology company developing an electric autonomous tractor.

AutoNxt Automation, India's first electric tractor venture, recently displayed its self-driving electric tractor at the Chandigarh Electric Vehicle Expo event.

Farming accounts for a significant portion of India's GDP, employing 58% of the population. Along with rising food industry demand, the Indian agricultural sector is experiencing a labour shortage due to low pay, marginal land holding, health concerns, and migration issues.

Deputy Chief Minister and other Cabinet Ministers visited the AutoNxt Automation stall and appreciated the concept of the EV Tractor. Visitors responded positively to AutoNxt Automation's e-Tractor, and some expressed interest in purchasing it.

Pankaj Goyal, Co-Founder & COO, AutoNxt Automation, said that “Simultaneously, we have received many expressions of interest in becoming the local distributor for our e-Tractors."

Goyal also spoke about the Punjab EV Policy, requesting that the government include e-tractors in the policies and create incentives to encourage faster adoption of e-tractors in the state.

Despite the fact that the Centre and state governments have already implemented various policies on the sale and purchase of electric vehicles, the public is unaware of the advantages of an electric vehicle.

This Expo event drew a large number of people who came to see and learn about various Electric Vehicles, including e-rickshaws, luxury EV cars, electric LCVs, e-buses, and even e-Tractors.
