Hyundai’s commitment to sustainability and adaptability is evident in these new concepts. Though no formal agreements have been finalized, the two companies plan to leverage Hyundai's expertise in design, engineering, and technology, while TVS Motor will focus on manufacturing and marketing.
SangYup Lee, Executive Vice President of Hyundai, highlighted the importance of the collaboration, emphasizing the mission to care for people in India. He noted that the goal is to locally produce the electric three-wheeler while exploring global opportunities for the micro four-wheeler.

The design features include an angled windshield for better visibility, enhanced collision protection, and an adjustable body height for better adaptability in monsoon seasons.
The micro four-wheeler concept focuses on compact design and high manoeuvrability, making it ideal for navigating narrow Indian streets. It also includes practical features such as flexible storage solutions, a slim cluster design for easy information display, and a dedicated phone holder for improved user experience.
Design and Engineering for Indian Conditions
Hyundai’s commitment to India is reflected in the design elements aimed at addressing local conditions. The Electric Three-Wheeler Concept vehicle will be equipped with large tyres for smoother rides on rough terrain and materials that can handle extreme temperatures and heavy rainfall.
The unique colour "Aakaashi Blue," inspired by the Indian Ocean and sky, symbolizes India’s limitless aspirations and complements the vehicle’s practical features.
Looking Ahead: Integration into India’s Traffic Ecosystem
Hyundai and TVS Motor are now assessing how to integrate these concept vehicles into India’s traffic system. The companies are considering local production for the electric three-wheeler and a global rollout for the four-wheeler concept. The goal is to create electric vehicles that meet Indian consumers' needs while setting new benchmarks for design, technology, and sustainability in urban transportation.
