JBM Electric Vehicles, a global leader in e-mobility solutions, revealed a fleet of four new electric buses at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. These buses include:

  • Galaxy: A luxury coach
  • Xpress: An intercity bus
  • e-MediLife: India’s first low-floor electric medical mobile unit
  • e-SkyLife: India’s first 9-meter electric tarmac coach

The launch supports JBM’s goal of achieving Net Zero by 2040 and aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Introducing JBM E-Verse

JBM also introduced the JBM E-Verse, an indigenously designed EV ecosystem. This includes fast-charging infrastructure, efficient lithium-ion batteries, and robust power systems, all designed to minimize downtime and offer complete e-mobility solutions.

A Decade of Innovation in Public Mobility

Nishant Arya, a key figure at JBM, highlighted the company’s decade of achievements in public mobility. Arya shared that JBM’s electric buses address various needs, from luxury inter-city travel to healthcare and tarmac transport. The company envisions serving over 20 billion passengers and covering 3 billion e-kilometers in the next few years.

Safety at the Forefront

JBM's electric buses are designed with safety as a priority. Features like electronic braking systems (EBS), anti-lock braking systems (ABS), disc brakes, and optional ADAS systems ensure enhanced safety and road control. The buses also include fire detection and suppression systems (FDSS), emergency exits, panic buttons, and vehicle tracking systems (VTS).

Commitment to Sustainability and Innovation

JBM continues to innovate in EV manufacturing, striving to create safer, greener, and more connected transport solutions. With over 1,800 electric buses deployed across India, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, JBM is not just shaping public transport in India but setting new global standards in electric mobility. JBM has an order book of over 10,000 buses and runs the largest integrated electric bus manufacturing facility outside China, located in Delhi-NCR, with a yearly capacity of 20,000 units.

About JBM Electric Vehicles

JBM Electric Vehicles began its journey in 1983 by manufacturing cylinders. As technology grew, the founder had a vision of “JBM inside,” inspired by Intel’s “Intel inside” in computers. The goal was for every vehicle in India to have a JBM component inside. Today, with JBM producing half a million auto components daily, this vision has become a reality.

Starting with a collaboration with India’s largest car manufacturer in 1987, JBM has grown into a $3.0bn global company with a presence in over 10 countries. The company has focused on scalability and sustainability, always guided by the principle of ‘One JBM.’ The true strength lies in the commitment of over 30,000 JBM employees who work together to deliver excellence every day.
