The Cybertruck's start date for production is coming closer as the days pass. Tesla's futuristic pickup truck is certainly the most anticipated automobile of the previous decade. No vehicle had sparked such excitement.

Musk originally revealed the electric pickup truck prototype in November 2019 during a Los Angeles promotional event. The vehicle has been compared to scenes from the films "Mad Max" and "Blade Runner."

There are several Online searches for the Cybertruck. This year, the Cybertruck generated over 2 million Google searches, according to the automotive consulting website Rerev. Other consumer-oriented electric vehicles trail far behind. For instance, the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV received over 232,000 Google searches, while the Jeep Avenger received slightly more than 173,000.

After the Cybertruck, these two vehicles are the second and third most searched electric vehicles on Google. The massive disparity reflects the expectations produced by Tesla's car, which intends to transform the way pickup trucks are seen, beginning with the design.

It has fan pages where people discuss its features and speculate on which options of the presentation model will be included in the mass-produced version.

Tesla no longer accepts orders outside of North America due to excessive demand. The question of whether the Cybertruck will be mass-produced remains unanswered.

Musk and Tesla said yes to this question right away, with a starting price of $39,900. Musk stated in January that production would begin later this year. Production would begin in 2024, but no statistics were provided by the billionaire.

The vehicle will be manufactured in Tesla's Austin factory, which has a capacity of more than 250,000 automobiles per year. The Model Y Vehicle is already manufactured on this site.

Because of the fleet of prototypes that Tesla is testing in California and Texas, the buzz surrounding the Cybertruck has grown in recent weeks. Brief films of these prototypes are being shared on social media, eliciting numerous comments from admirers who appear to be impressed by the vehicle.

Musk frequently makes comments that raise new expectations or rumours. That's exactly what he did. On March 27, a fan released a short 4-second video showing one of the Cybertruck prototypes moving by. Musk used the opportunity to laud the virtues of the pickup truck, claiming that it will usher in a new age in the automotive industry. The Cybertruck is just the future for him.
