In a significant move towards modernizing agricultural support systems, the state government has launched an innovative online registration system aimed at facilitating farmer access to an excess of beneficial schemes. These initiatives, ranging from agriculture, and agricultural equipment grants to irrigation schemes and the esteemed PM Kisan Yojana, are pivotal in supporting the livelihoods of farmers across the state. With the arrival of this digital platform, the government seeks to inject transparency into the process while ensuring that the benefits reach those who need them the most.

Under the new directive, farmers statewide are required to complete online registration through the newly introduced MP Kisan App to unlock the benefits embedded within various government schemes. Speaking on the significance of this development, Ashok Kumar Sharma, the Agriculture Deputy Director for Tikamgarh and Niwari districts, emphasized the necessity of this step to access a gamut of beneficiary-oriented schemes. Through the MP Kisan App, farmers can seamlessly enroll themselves, paving the way for direct subsidy transfers into their designated bank accounts.
To initiate the registration process, farmers are encouraged to download the MP Kisan App from the Google Play Store. Once installed, the app offers a user-friendly interface allowing farmers to log in and provide crucial details such as crop information and land holdings. Furthermore, the application streamlines the registration process for other government schemes, offering a comprehensive digital ecosystem for farmer welfare.
During the registration process on the MP Kisan App, farmers are required to furnish a set of essential documents. These include their Aadhar number, pertinent land-related information such as Khasra/District, Tehsil, Village details, Samagra ID, caste certificate (if applicable), a mobile number linked to Aadhaar for seamless OTP verification, active bank account details, and an IVRS number for those with electricity connections.
Recognizing the diverse needs of farmers, the government has established a robust support infrastructure to aid in the registration process. Farmers can seek assistance from various channels such as Krishak Mitra, Common Service Centres, agricultural extension officers, and other designated extension workers. This concerted effort underscores the government's commitment to ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in its agricultural welfare programs.
With the introduction of the online registration system, the government aims to instill a culture of transparency while enhancing accessibility to agricultural benefits for farmers. By digitizing the process, farmers can efficiently access government support for agricultural equipment, machinery, and other essential resources, thus supporting their livelihoods and fostering sustainable agricultural practices.
Madhya Pradesh boasts a diverse array of schemes and facilities tailored to support its farming community. From the Agricultural Equipment Grant to the Krishi Shakti Yojana and a host of other state and centrally-sponsored initiatives, the government is committed to providing comprehensive assistance for agricultural mechanization, development, and infrastructure. Additionally, the government extends various facilities such as tractor rentals, support for setting up hiring centers, and assistance for procuring advanced agricultural equipment, further empowering farmers to thrive in today's dynamic agricultural landscape.
Through these concerted efforts, the state government attempts to empower farmers and propel agricultural development across Madhya Pradesh into a sustainable and prosperous future.
