The KamAZ-4326 is a four-wheel drive truck manufactured in Naberezhnye Chelny. The vehicle, which has been in production since 1995, is also intended for military use. There is a modernized successor in the KamAZ-4350. The KamAZ-43114 is similar to the KamAZ-4326, but it has three axes rather than two.
The KamAZ-4326 has been in development since the 1980s. The KAMAZ plant at the time produced some prototypes of a two-axle all-terrain truck based on the KamAZ-4310. KamAZ-4326 was already assigned to these vehicles. Because the factory was busy producing over 110,000 trucks per year at the time, the new model was not put into series production.
The idea was revived after the fall of the Soviet Union. The series production began in 1995 with no major design changes. The engine was a large-volume diesel engine with an in-house gearbox. A 1.5-meter wading depth, permanent all-wheel drive, and large individual tires on all wheels provide the necessary off-road mobility.
Since the beginning of the 2000s, a model with a wheelbase that is about 50 centimetres shorter has been produced. Since 2003, a more modern successor, the KamAZ-4350, has been built. The KamAZ-4326, on the other hand, hasn't been available to the general public since 2015.
